Casa rural "Gaztelubidea" is located in Bernedo. It is very close to the Urturi and Lagrán public golf courses as well as the beautiful Izki National Park and the Sierra Toloño-Cantabria which make it the perfect place to do outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking. Bernedo?s strategic location allows for extraordinary excursions around Montaña Alavesa as well as Rioja Alavesa with its wineries which are close by or the capital city of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The houses are both two-story houses. The ground floor has a bathroom, living room-dining room-kitchen with a fireplace, TV, board games, etc... There is a full bath, double room with a queen sized bed, and another double room on the second floor. From the other room you can access the attic study that has two hide-a-beds.

Basarte Etxea is a large house located in one of the restored straw lofts whose walls are made of stone combined with wooden beams. It is in Faido which is a lovely town below a forest of beech trees in Montaña Alavesa. The Hermitage of the Virgin of the Rock, is located in Faido, is the oldest place of worship in the Basque Country, and has been declared a Protected Monument of the Basque Country. There are also man-made caves in the area that have housed hermitages dating back to the 6th century.

Faido?s strategic location, being just 15 minutes from Rioja Alavesa and Vitoria, and being next to the Izki Golf Course, provides visitors with a wide variety of options to enjoy their stay in the town.

The house is a mill that dates back to 1778 which was renovated 130 years ago. Now it has been restored inside and made into a ?casa rural?.
