Townships

The Cuadrilla of Campezo-Montaña Alavesa is made up of six municipalities:

  • Arraia-Maeztu.
  • Bernedo.
  • Campezo.
  • Lagrán.
  • Peñacerrada.
  • Valle de Arana.

POPULATION

The total population of the region is 3,150 inhabitants. However, the seasonal population can double on the weekend, during the summer, and during vacation.

COUNCILS OR POPULATED AREAS

The six municipalities that make up the Cuadrilla are also made up of 47 populated areas or Councils.

ARRAIA-MAEZTU

The municipality of Arraia-Maeztu is made up of 16 towns:

  1. Apellániz
  2. Atauri
  3. Azáceta.
  4. Corres
  5. Maestu-Maeztu.
  6. Onraita
  7. Alecha.
  8. Roitegui.
  9. Sabando.
  10. Vírgala Mayor.
  11. Vírgala Menor.
  12. Arenaza.
  13. Cicujano.
  14. Ibisate.
  15. Leorza.
  16. Musitu.

BERNEDO

The municipality of Bernedo is made up of 13 towns:

  1. Angostina.
  2. Arluzea.
  3. Bernedo.
  4. Navarrete.
  5. Marquínez.
  6. Oquina.
  7. Quintana.
  8. San Roman de Campezo.
  9. Urarte.
  10. Urturi.
  11. Villafría.
  12. Berrozi.
  13. Izarza.

CAMPEZO

The municipality of Campezo is made up of 5 towns:

  1. Antoñana.
  2. Bujanda.
  3. Santa Cruz de Campezo.
  4. Orbiso.
  5. Oteo.

LAGRAN

The municipality of Lagrán is made up of 3 towns:

  1. Lagrán.
  2. Pipaón.
  3. Villaverde.

PEÑACERRADA

The municipality of Peñacerrada is made up of 6 towns:

  1. Baroja, with the sparsely populated area of Zumento.
  2. Faido.
  3. Loza.
  4. Montoria.
  5. Payueta.
  6. Peñacerrada.

VALLE DE ARANA

The municipality of Valle de Arana is made up of 4 towns:

  1. Alda.
  2. Contrasta.
  3. San Vicente de Arana.
  4. Ullibarri-Arana.
